He created his first ring, ‘ Great Seal ', designed after the 'Great Seal of The United States' to begin his patriotic ring collection over fifteen years ago. Carroll was originally looking to design a patriotic ring for himself. He scoured jewelry stores, antique stores, flea markets for a unique ring that he could proudly wear to display his patriotism. After years of searching, he decided to create his own. He said he wanted to make a patriotic ring unlike the others on the market. It was the historic rings that caught his fancy. He wanted to design a handsome eagle ring with a strong, classic look. He needed it to be heavy, extreme in detail; one that he could wear everyday as a tribute to the history, culture and heritage of The United States.
