"When I set out to design a ring worthy of a U.S. Marine, I knew it had to be beyond comparison. It had to be instantly recognizable, affordable to all ranks and of the highest quality. It is just that," says Carroll.Marine Corps jewelry can be found on Carroll Collection's website at EagleRings.com, with 30 additional original designs by Mike Carroll. His military jewelry is displayed online in sterling silver and 10k gold, and 14k and 18 k white and yellow gold. Carroll says he did not want to make a military ring that resembled high-school style class rings or emblematic rings found on the market. He wanted to design a handsome ring with a strong look, using the American icon of the bald eagle in his designs. He needed the Marine Corps jewelry to be heavy in weight, and extreme in detail and boldly show the eagle, globe and anchor. Also he wanted a USMC ring that Marine could wear everyday as a tribute to the history, culture and heritage of The United States. These Marine Corps eagle rings salute the dedicated men and women who serve(d) in the Armed Forces. His collection also has designs that recognize the everyday citizen, who loves their country and is proud to show it. He has completed his thirtieth design, including five navy rings, in what is known as The Carroll Collection of U.S. Eagle Rings. Mike Carroll is the creator and designer of The Carroll Collection of American Eagle rings. He and his wife, Maribeth are the owners, operators and manufacturers of The Carroll Collection of American Eagle Rings in Prairie View, IL, a small town in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. An unmistakable symbol, this ring was designed in recognition of the United States Marine Corps. Brigadier General Commandant Jacob Zeilin approved the current emblem on November 17, 1868. Two days later, it was signed and endorsed by the Secretary of Navy. The emblem consists of a globe (showing the Western Hemisphere) intersected by a foul anchor, and surmounted by a spread eagle. The origin dates of the anchor go back to the founding of the Marine Corps in 1775, indicates the amphibious nature of Marines duties.
